Michael Wolff - Mama Tell Me
At the time of this recording, the personnel of pianist Michael Wolff's "Impure Thoughts Band" had been playing and touring together for two years. The band roster included Alex Foster/sax, John B. Williams/bass, Frank Colon/percussion, Victor Jones/drums, and Badal Roy/tablas. This fantastic clip of the song has a Caribbean island groove and features piano and percussion solos. Throughout this clip, Michael shows why he is considered a master at coaxing a myriad of emotions from the acoustic piano.
